Ordering & shipping
Where do you ship?
We ship anywhere in Canada. Prices are in CAD, and taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, because small batch production can sometimes add a few days.
Can I cancel or return an order?
For food safety reasons we can’t accept returns of opened food, and orders can’t be cancelled once placed. If your order arrives damaged or wrong, email us photos within 7 days and we’ll replace or refund it. We reserve the right to reject any refund for any reason.
Do you do bulk or corporate orders?
Yes. Corporate orders start at 50 bars. Request a corporate order.
Ingredients & allergens
Are Bonk bars gluten free?
We use only gluten free ingredients, like certified gluten free sprouted oats. Because we make them in a home kitchen, there’s a small risk of cross contamination. We clean thoroughly and keep things separate, but we can’t guarantee a 100% allergen free environment. We do not recommend Bonk Bars to anyone with any severe anaphylactic allergies.
What does gluten free mean?
Gluten free in Canadian food laws means fewer than 20 parts per million of gluten or less than 0.002% gluten. Claims of 100% gluten free or certified gluten free mean the product has even more strict standards and usually an independently inspected supply chain.
Which bars are vegan?
Cuppa Joe and Chick’n & Waffles are 100% plant based, sweetened with maple syrup and vegan brown sugar. OG and Burning Biryani contain honey. Matcha La Vista contains honey and milk.
What allergens are in the bars?
Every bar contains peanuts and almonds. Some flavours also contain milk, soy, celery, coconut or mustard. See allergens for every bar.
Do any bars have caffeine?
Yes. Cuppa Joe has about 80 mg of caffeine from real coffee, around one small cup, so we don’t recommend it for children under 15. Matcha La Vista has only a little natural caffeine from matcha tea, about 30 mg, and is safe for kids.
Storage & safety
How long do they last?
We don’t use artificial preservatives, so the bars are best fresh. They keep 3 months on the shelf, and 5 months in the fridge or freezer.
Where are Bonk bars made?
Every bar is crafted and packaged in small batches in Calgary, Alberta.
Are you certified and insured?
We’re fully insured and approved by the local health inspector. Our team holds valid Food Handler Certifications that meet Alberta Health Services standards.
